Our mission is to inspire individuals to learn more about gut health and the microbiome in order to take charge of their health.  We believe individuals are the CEOs of their own health.  When is comes to gut health, the Gut Health Foundation is the executive source for education and sound decision-making.

Meet Robert Donati, PhD

My name is Robert Donati. I am not a doctor or medical professional, but rather a passionate researcher and educator. I have 30 years of experience as a biomedical researcher and 20+ years of experience teaching human physiology and pathology to healthcare professionals. Over these many years of research and teaching, I have developed an interest in the interplay of the GI system with other physiological systems in the body, specifically the immune system and brain, and vice versa. I have turned that interest into opportunities at several companies where I helped guide the clinical direction of teams focused on probiotics and gut health. My journey into the world of gut health continues and I’ll be sharing what I learn, posting in-depth articles, and providing honest reviews of products in this space.
